We've been running an informal recreational "league" for the past several years, and we're always looking for men and women of ALL ages and skill levels from DC, MD and VA to join us.
Once you sign up, we'll assign you to an existing team and provide a schedule of games, including playoffs. But since this is Meetup, you're not obligated to show up every week. Again, this is a loose recreational-style league.
No special equipment is required, and we'll even provide bats and gloves as needed! Just bring $6 to cover balls, umpires etc.
And for those of you who are interested, we even have "members only" baseball parties, post-game specials and social events.
So come on out and join us for some exercise and friendly competition with our fun group of softballers!
